On February 26, 2013, Clean Gulf Associates in conjunction with Clean Gulf Associates Services (CGAS) hosted CGAS Preferred Response Organizations (PROs) equipment deployment training in Leeville, La. The Training is the kick off of a three part series of PROs training taking place in 2013 throughout the Gulf Coast region. The training targeted OSRO technician level personnel; additionally, members from the US Coast Guard and BSEE were in attendance. The PROs network individuals were trained on a myriad of CGA equipment; the Oceangoing Boom Barge. 46′ and 95′ Fast Response Vessel (FRV), Fast Response Unit (FRU), Trinity and Marco Skimmer and CGAS safety requirements and air monitoring equipment. The training highlighted the increased level of response capibilites CGA has with all the new equipment.
