On Wednesday May 7th, Clean Gulf Associates participated in and sponsored the On-Water and Aerial Techincal Demonstration at the Internationl Oil Spill Conference (IOSC) in Savannah, GA. The theme was “A Complete Spill Response System.”
The objective was to demonstrate oil spill response resources involving new and existing technology configured to increase the effectiveness of a response such as improved detection, tracking and increased encounter and recovery rates. CGA’s 95′ Fast Response Vessel, Breton Island, showcased the Aptomar Securus Infrared X-Band Radar detection system as well as its side mounted Lamor brush skimming systems.
